About
Jennifer Monk is an award-winning actor, director, writer, and producer with over 20 years of experience across theatre, film, television, and digital series.
She trained at La Trobe University, St Martins Youth Arts Centre, and graduated with honours from the London School of Dramatic Arts. Known for her bold and imaginative approach to storytelling, Jennifer creates work that is inventive, thought-provoking, and grounded in real human experience.
Her work has been seen on stages including La Mama Theatre, The Malthouse, and The Butterfly Club, and screened at film festivals around the world.
Jennifer is the founder of Girls Act Good, an all-female collective producing theatre, film, and digital content. She also launched JMONK Vision in 2020, a platform for storytelling through her lens as a female filmmaker and photographer.
