About JMONK Vision

Jennifer created JMONK Vision as a platform to share bold, honest, and meaningful stories through the lens of a female filmmaker and photographer. Launched during the COVID-19 pandemic, JMONK Vision has become her creative home—where she produces work that entertains, educates, and elevates.

Since its launch, Jennifer has written, directed, and produced a range of award-winning projects under the JMONK Vision banner:

  • ALLSORTS Arts – a festival-nominated web series celebrating creative diversity

  • River Hags and Hansel’s Gretel – award-winning short films reimagining folklore and feminine identity

  • 30 Days Till I Meet Her – an award-winning documentary web series and festival finalist, exploring themes of connection and self-discovery

  • TEREZZUATION – a finalist and award-winning web series that blends humor, truth, and cultural perspective

  • Slightly Cracked: The Trilogy – currently on the festival circuit, recently nominated at LA Webfest for Best Director and All Genre Series, and recipient of the Michael Ajakwe Jr. Achievement Award

Through JMONK Vision, Jennifer continues to champion independent storytelling that is visually compelling, emotionally grounded, and socially conscious. Whether through film or photography, her work brings to light the stories and perspectives that often go unheard—inviting all audiences to see the world through a different lens.

“Charitable donations of any size can make a huge difference to what we can achieve. As a self-producing Artist I fund my own projects. However, this is not always sustainable in the current arts climate. I am determined to continue to tell stories and engage the audience in creative projects across the mediums of film, online digital content and photography.”
